Trip to the aquarium

Sitting on the steps about to see Dora

On Sunday we took the kiddos to the National Aquarium here in Baltimore.  The weekend started out wet and dreary but today was a nice day to be out and about. Dora the Explorer was at the aquarium and everyone wanted to have their picture taken with her.

Paige was so excited to see Dora, and to be at the aquarium.  She just loves fish, however she wasn’t feeling well so the first part of the day was rough for her, and she struggled through it.

After seeing Dora, we had to high tail it to the dolphin show.  We took Paige to it before, when Grandma Marsha and Grandpa Larry came up last year.  It hadn’t changed much, but still exciting to watch.

Is that a flying dolphin?

I've got a Paige on my back!!

Waiting on the movie. She LOVED it!

Next came the 4D Immersion Theater.  We, again, had to high tail it across the aquarium to make our show.  It was amazing!  They showed some previews first and Paige was just blown away when actual snow began falling in the theater during a preview of “The Polar Express”  The show itself was amazing.  Not only was it in 3D, but bubbles, splashes of water, wind, even things moving below your seat all added to the experience.  We most definitely will be returning to see “The Polar Express”!

Dreamy in Mommy's arms

Connor stayed with Mommy most of the day, snuggled in his harness.

After the theater we hit the exhibits…..

AHHHHH!!                  Real or fake!

Across the way view               Tincs, Leucs, Azureus, and Auratus in the same viv!!

We decided to walk over to one of the Inner Harbor restaurants for an early dinner.  Chicago Uno.  Yummy!  From our table we had a nice view of the harbor.

Across the harbor view of Federal Hill                Nation Aquarium

Paige helping with a word find                "Stop taking pics of me!!!!!"
